Perform acts of charity
"quote of the day"
Even when you smile upon meeting others, you are giving charity.
The prophet (blessings and peace be upon him) said:
"Do not dismiss certain acts of kindness by deeming them to be
significant, even if(such an act) is to meet your brother with a smiling
face(for that is a deed which might weigh heavily in your scale of deeds)"
seeking Allah's pleasure, because with this attitude you will assuredly
be successful. The ungrateful person cannot really harm you: praise Allah that
the person is the transgressor and that you are the obedient servant. Also,
remember that the hand that gives is better than the hand that receives
ALLAH (subhanahu wa ta’ala) said:
"If you never felt pain or experienced problems, how would you know
I’m the Healer? If you never made a mistake, how would you know I’m the
Forgiver? If you were never hurt, how would you know I am the Comforter? If
your life was perfect, then why would you need Me?"
So as a man do you see yourself doing the housework at home after you
get married? Or do you think, this is a job only for the wife. Maybe we should
look upon the life of the Prophet (PBUH) and see if there are any issues to be
learnt from his domestic life. He used to even patch up his own clothes and
wash them
Qur'an is a book of guidance, it is an instruction manual one should
refer to for guidance. It isn't something that should ONLY be recited without
any understanding, but rather you should attempt to recite it and also find the
meaning of the words you recite. It isn't a book that should be left on your
top shelf to gather dust, it should be easily accessible and read daily.
NOTE: I DID NOT PERSONALLY WRITE THIS, IT WAS SEND TO ME THREW EMAIL, IM JUST FORWARDING THIS MESSAGE TO SPREAD THE KNOWLEDGE OF OUR BEAUTIFUL RELIGION ISLAM. YOU ARE MOST WELCOME TO SHARE THIS POST AS WELL, JAZARKALLAH KAIR.
