Don't just wait for things to change in your favor

Allah heard your call for help, but He wants you to take action and be responsible yourself. Don't just wait for things to change in your favor, seek His guidance and strive for change. Just like the doctor who prescribes a sick patient medication for a sickness and expects the patient to obey His commands, similarly, Allah provides the right guidance. Your success therefore depends on if you obey the instructions your receive.

And seek help through patience and prayer, and indeed, it is difficult except for the humbly submissive [to Allah]. [Qur'an 2:45]
